Heel/foot Complaints
Your Story:
I think I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot. I had plantar fasciitis in my right foot over a year ago and this feels similar. I just want to get checked out and find a way forward that will improve my condition. Started 2 years ago in right foot, that cleared in time, left foot started 3 months ago, hurts to walk on every day, can’t run on it, I have to walk my dog every day.
Condition:
Plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of the fibrous tissue (plantar fascia) along the bottom of your foot that connects your heel bone to your toes. Plantar fasciitis can cause intense heel pain. Plantar fasciitis (PLAN-tur fas-e-I-tis) is one of the most common causes of heel pain.
Assessment and Treatment:
This person’s signs and symptoms matched Plantar Fasciitis. After one treatment of Shockwave Therapy, they sustained a full week of 90% reduction in frequency of notice and intensity of discomfort. Regularly needing pain medications, they needed none this week.
